General Questions

Why do you ask for contact information to log in to Daisy Brains?

We want each user experience to be unique. Thus we ask for contact information in order to create an account that you can use each time you return to Daisy Brains. Your personal best scores will be stored as will your Sketch drawings.

How can I be removed from your mailing lists?

On each email that is received, you will see a link at the bottom that says "Unsubscribe." Click on that link and that will remove you from the mailing list.

I have changed my email address. Do I need to update this in Daisy Brains?

Yes, you should update this in Daisy Brains as that will allow you to receive emails if you are on our email list. It will also allow your Daisy Brains account to link to your email if you end up forgetting your password.

You will need to log-in to Daisy Brains using your username that you designated when you signed up for Daisy Brains. Once you are logged in:

  1. Click "My Account" in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Click "Update Personal Information."
  3. In the section that specifies email address, input your new email address.
  4. Make sure to save your changes by clicking "Submit."

I would like to set multiple accounts under one email address. Can I do this?

Yes - you can do this. It will be important, though, that you give a new username to the new account. Otherwise, Daisy Brains will not know if the accounts are intended to be related or not.

You will need to make sure you logout of your Daisy Brains account, though, in order to create a new account.

I would like to edit various account details. How do I do this?

First, you will need to make sure that you are logged into your account. After logging in, click on "My Account" in the upper right hand corner of the screen. At this point, you have the option to edit your Personal Information or Change Your Password.

See below for items that you can edit:

  • Personal Information - Change your username, email address, first/last name or turn off auto-renew
  • Change Your Password - Change the password associated with your account

Can I use Daisy Brains for free?

You may use Daisy Brains for a limited time for free during the trial membership. You will have full access to all areas of the website including the brain games, brain teasers, and creativity challenges as well as the "Newspaper Page" which features a new "Word of the Day," "Picture of the Day," "Article of the Day," and "Fact of the Day."

By subscribing to Daisy Brains, though, you have the opportunity to experience all of the brain games, brain teasers, and creativity exercises each and every day.

Can I log-in to Daisy Brains on any computer or do I have to use the computer I signed up on?

Daisy Brains is web-based and that allows you to use it on any computer that has internet access. To login, you will need to:

This should allow you to enter the "Wonderful World of Daisy Brains."

Three important things to note:

  1. The computer you are using needs to have Flash Player (already installed on most computers).
  2. Make sure that the pop-up blockers are turned off.
  3. Do not forget to log-off when working at a public computer. If you don't log-off, the next person to use that public computer will have access to your account. It is important to log-off, so simply click the 'Logout' button in the top right hand corner of your screen.

What do Daisy Points represent?

You accumulate Daisy Points as you participate in activities on the Daisy Brains site. The more points you have, the more active you are on the site. You will notice that gaining more points is one way to earn achievement patches. So keep up the training and start earning those points!!

Why do I not have access to some of the brain games, brain teasers and drawing challenges?

If you are a trial member, you have access to all of the brain games, brain teasers and drawing challenges for a limited time. After that your time has expired, your free trial membership will be complete and you will need to sign up for a full membership in order to have access to all of the brain games, brain teasers, and drawing challenges each and every day.

In Lemonade Letters, Picking Apples, and Word Pop, why are some words not accepted?

These games look up words in a large dictionary, but there is a possibility that some words may not be in the dictionary. Many technical terms and proper nouns may not be accepted.

What do the stars at the top and the bottom of a picture in the Gallery represent?

The star on the bottom right hand corner of a drawing is there for you to click if you "like" a picture. By clicking this star, you are informing the user who drew the picture that you liked their picture. You do also earn Daisy Points when you do this.

The star in the top left appears when other users like your drawing. This star will turn different colors as more and more individuals start to "like" your drawing.

What is the 'My Garden' area?

The 'My Garden' area is a place where you can unlock new achievements as you complete various items within Daisy Brains. To see what types of achievements can be unlocked, scroll over the achievement patch and the description will show up in the right hand corner of the My Achievements area.

What is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union regulation governing data privacy, which places new requirements on individuals and businesses offering services from and to the EU. The aim of the GDPR is to harmonize the existing patchwork of data privacy laws currently in place across most of Europe, including the 28 member countries of the EU and the 3 additional member countries of the EEA.

The GDPR goes into effect on May 25, 2018 and gives European individuals more transparency, rights, and control around the way their information is used. It also provides rights for data deletion, access, and portability.

Log-In Questions

I am unable to remember my username or password. What do I do?

Your username and password were created when you established your account. You may have also updated your password in the "My Account" section of the website. The link to the "My Account" section is in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

If you cannot remember your username or password, you can always have a new password sent to you by clicking on this link: and selecting the “Forgot Your Username” or "Forgot Your Password" link.

Was my password automatically assigned or did I create it?

During the sign-up process, you originally created your own password and that password was emailed to you. Due to security reasons, we do not store your password. But you can reset your password at any time by clicking on "My Account" which is in the upper right-hand corner and click Change Password.

When creating a new password, you must make sure that you use the email address that was used when creating your Daisy Brains account. An email will be sent to that email address after the form is filled out and will confirm your new password. Please keep this password in a secure location for future reference.

I never received the email with my new password. What do I do?

Make sure that you entered the same email address that you used when you signed up with Daisy Brains. After confirming that you used the same email address, it might be necessary to check your email spam folder to make sure that the email did not go into that folder.

If you still did not receive an email with your password and are still having problems logging into your account, please email and include Password reset as the subject line. Make sure to provide your email address and username so we can update the correct account. The Daisy Brains support team will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Subscription Information

Will I be charged for access to

You have access to our site for free for a limited time. For full site access, we provide different subscription terms in increments of 3 months, 12 months, 24 months and 60 months. We will not charge for access to the site, unless you've elected a subscription option and entered payment information for paid subscription services on our site.

Access to Subscription Services requires payment of fees. If you have entered payment information on our site, your credit card will be billed only the fee associated with the subscription you elected. You will be billed up front for total due on the subscription term you've selected. Auto-renewal of your subscription is set up in the system to automatically renew when your subscription period ends. You may change this setting at any time during your subscription term by updating settings in the "My Account" area.

How much does cost?

Basic trial membership to is free for a limited time and you will have complete use of the site during that free trial membership time period.

How do I switch from free access to full access (upgrade My Account)?

How will I be billed for my elected subscription?

Our subscriptions are billed as one up-front amount (based on the subscription term elected) versus monthly. Once payment is submitted, you receive access for the next 3, 12, 24 or 60 months respectively. Prices are shown on the purchase page broken down by month for comparison purposes only. Auto-renewal of your subscription is set up in the system to automatically renew when your initial subscription period ends. You may change this setting at any time during your subscription term.

What are my payment method options?

How does Auto-Renewal work and can I adjust so that my subscription does not auto-renew?

When subscribing to, your account will automatically be set up for Auto Renewal unless you select the button to turn off Auto Renewal. This simply means that at the end of your elected and paid subscription term, your account will automatically renew for the same subscription term at the current subscription cost. The credit card used for your original subscription will be billed for the new renewal term. If we determine that your credit card has expired and cannot be used for your auto-renewal, we will request updated credit card information.

You may adjust the Auto Renewal setting at any time during your subscription term. If you would prefer to not have your Account auto-renew at the end of your subscription, you may change the default setting to have your subscription expire at the end of your subscription time period. Once your subscription expires, you will need to manually re-subscribe for full access to Allowing the system to automatically renew keeps your subscription active for the same subscription duration as originally purchased.

To view and/or change your auto-renewal setting, please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you are logged into your Account.
  2. Click "My Account" in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
  3. Click "Edit Personal Information."
  4. The "Auto Renewal" flag defaults to ‘Yes'. If you wish to change the default setting to "No", simply click on the Auto Renewal flag field and change the setting to "No"

Again, you may change this setting at any time during your subscription term.

How do I access my Account Information?

To view or update your account information or cancel your subscription, log in to and go to the "My Account" link in the top right corner of the screen.

Account Details are available for viewing, settings modification (i.e. Auto Renewal) and links for additional actions are included on this page.

Can I cancel my subscription and receive a refund?

Yes, your satisfaction is our priority. For all subscription options, we offer a 14 day money back guarantee. You may terminate Subscription Services within the first fourteen (14) days of paid Subscription Services and receive a full refund of your subscription payment. After fourteen (14) days, your subscription will remain in effect for the duration of the subscription selected.

If you wish to cancel within the first fourteen (14) days and request a refund, you may notify us by the clicking the "My Account" link and canceling your account or emailing us at Refunds are processed through our Customer Service Department within 48 hours of receipt of required information.

I cannot access my paid subscription. Why?

Possible reasons include:

  1. Paid subscriptions are activated immediately. If you purchased a regular subscription but do not have full access, make sure that you are logged in with the same account information you provided during the subscribe process. If you are not using the correct login information, you will not have full access.
  2. If your credit card was declined through the payment settlement process, you will not have access to Credit card settlement could take up to four business days, so immediate access to could subsequently be denied.

Why do I see a charge on my credit card?

The only charges you will incur from are for initial subscription services elected or a renewal for a subscription service. All subscriptions are set up to auto-renew at the end of the original subscription term. The credit card you used on your original subscription will be charged for the renewal subscription. The auto-renewal default may be changed on your account at any time of your subscription term.

Technical Questions

I am unable to play the games, have trouble opening the brain teasers, and/or cannot use the Sketch tool?

Step #1 - Make sure that you have Flash installed on your computer.

Step #2 - Clear your browser's temporary file cache

It may be necessary to clear your browser's temporary file cache and then reload the games. Each browser has a different set of instructions. See below:


  • Open the "Tools" menu.
  • Choose "Clear Recent History."
  • Make sure "Cache" is selected with a checkmark.
  • Click "Clear Now.

Internet Explorer:

  • Open the "Tools" menu.
  • Choose "Internet Options."
  • Click on the "General tab" and find the section titled "Browsing History."
  • Click on the button titled "Delete" and that will delete all temporary internet files.


  • Go to the "Safari" menu.
  • Choose "Empty Cache."

Chrome - Windows users:

  • Click on the "Tools" menu.
  • Select "Options."
  • Click the "Under the Hood" tab.
  • Then click on "Clear Browsing data."

Chrome - Mac users:

  • Go to the "Chrome" menu.
  • Click on "Clear browsing data."

After you have cleared the browser's file cache, reload the game.

It appears as if part of the screen is being cut off when I play games, logic puzzles or use Sketch. How can I make everything fit on the screen?

There may be a variety of different reasons as to why the screen is being cut off:

Your browser isn't maximized to fill your entire screen.

  • You will need to make sure that your browser is enlarged when playing Daisy Brains.
  • On the upper right hand corner of the browser, click and drag on the button with two squares and that will allow you to enlarge the browser.

Your browser is set to display text in a larger font than normal.

  • Look for this option in the preferences or view menu on our browser.
  • Make sure that your text sizes are set to "normal."

Your browser is "zoomed in."

  • Depending on your computer there are different ways to change your zoom level.
  • You may be able to hold down the control key and use the scroll wheel on your mouse.
  • You can look in your browser menu for a "zoom in/out" option.
  • You can right click on the area that isn't working and choose "zoom out."

Your Flash Player is "zoomed in."

  • Right click on the brain game/brain teaser/Sketch area.
  • Click "Show all."
  • This should fix the zoom level for Flash.

I am playing brain games and brain teasers but any time I try to type, my keyboard input is not recognized. What do I need to do?

There could be a variety of different reasons why this is occurring:

  • Make sure that when you click in the brain game or brain teaser screen when you want to input text. You have to click in the brain game/brain teaser in order to be able to type. It is also important that you click on the input bar if you are having trouble inputting information.
  • Make sure that your browser and Flash version are up to date with the latest version.
  • Safari issues - there are intermittent issues with the Safari browser where the Flash Player does not recognize keyboard inputs. This usually goes away if you restart Safari or reload the game. It is recommended, though, that Mac users use another browse such as Firefox to avoid this problem (
  • Chrome browser on Linux - if you the number five key does not work, make sure to turn on your num lock.

Is there a preferred browser that I should use with Daisy Brains?

It is advised that you use one of our preferred browsers. Daisy Brains will work on other browsers but there is the potential that issues may be encountered. Make sure to have Javascript and cookies enabled.

Do I need to have JavaScript enabled in my browser?

Yes, you will need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser. Almost all computers come with this installed so unless you see an error, you do not need to do anything. Please follow the steps listed below depending on which browser you use:

Internet Explorer

  • Click on the "Tools" menu.
  • Choose "Internet Options."
  • In the "Security" tab, click on the "Default Level" button to return the browser to the default security setting. It is important to note that if the "Default level" button is not clickable, then JavaScript is already enabled.
  • Click "OK" at the bottom of the window.


  • Click on the "Tools" menu.
  • Windows - Choose "Options" for Windows. Click on "Firefox" menu.
  • Mac - Choose "Preferences."
  • Click on the "Enable JavaScript" box.
  • Click "OK" at the bottom of the window.


  • Open the "Safari" menu.
  • Choose "Preferences."
  • Click on the "Security" tab.
  • Check the box next to "Enable JavaScript."
  • Make sure the box next to "Block pop-up windows" is not checked.


  • Windows - Click the "Tools" menu and then "Options."
  • Mac - Click "Chrome" and then "Preferences."
  • Click "Under the Hood."
  • Select the "Content settings" button and the "JavaScript" tab.
  • Make sure "Allow JavaScript ..." is selected.

Can I use on my mobile device?

You can open on your mobile device and view the "newspaper" page. But you will not be able to play any of the games, brain teasers, or use Sketch as that requires Flash Player and JavaScript as most mobile devices do not support these.

Can I use Daisy Brains on my iPad or iPhone?

You do have basic Daisy Brains viewing capabilities on the iPad and iPhone but unfortunately you are unable to play any of the brain games, brain teasers or use Sketch on your iPad and iPhone. Daisy Brains brain games, brain teasers and Sketch all require Flash Player and the iPad and iPhone do not support this.
